In this module, you will learn how to sign in and sign out of the Amadeus system using JI (Jump In) and JO (Jump Out) commands. These are the first commands every travel agent must master.

You will also learn the powerful encoding and decoding system: converting city names to 3-letter IATA codes (e.g., Mumbai → BOM, Delhi → DEL) and airline names to 2-letter codes (e.g., Air India → AI, IndiGo → 6E).

Understanding the Amadeus format is crucial. Dates use the DDMMM format (e.g., 15MAR), and city pairs are written as 6-letter combinations (e.g., BOMDEL for Mumbai to Delhi).
